As the student-facing lead for communications and outreach, I led the launch of social media channels which connected us not only to student audiences, but to the larger creative community.
After meticulous research and crafting a cohesive content strategy, I executed the development of our department brand identity, coordinated a 5-pillar social content calendar, and identified the metrics through which we would measure our outreach success.
Through thorough analysis of data and audience engagement metrics across each quarter, I identified several key successes from our expanded communications strategy:
Increased awareness amongst student populations lead to an across the board increase in service utilization, including a 48% rise in individual coaching appointments during the first six weeks of the semester.
Event attendance and awareness increased, leading to record applicants for the 2024 Art Fair & Marketplace.
Through strategic alterations to our content strategy, we saw a 30% increase in followers and 40% increase in interactions between Quarter 1 and Quarter 2.
As Program Coordinator for Creative Careers & Collaboration at CCAD, one of my primary goals was helping students to see the varied career pathways open to them. Too often, young creatives have a narrow vision of what their industries have to offer, and don't realize how valuable their skills truly are.
To combat this issue, I developed, designed, and launched two new social series:
Title Wave: A series of Instagram Reels which spotlight each of CCAD's majors and a list of potential job titles a degree in each of them can lead to.
Career Spotlight: Instagram posts and LinkedIn Articles which highlight the career journeys of CCAD faculty and Alumni
These series successfully highlighted how versatile creative careers can be. Upon the launch of the series, they posts become the top performing content released across our social channels.

In 2024, I lead efforts to increase student awareness of CCAD's unique Aha Media Internship Program--a partnership with Aha Media, an animation studio that focuses on uplifting new talent, that allows students to experience the production of an animated short. The animated stills featured are from a the previously short produced by the Fall 2023 Cohort: Frames Per Second.
In order to maximize student applicants and engagement, I designed marketing assets which were eye-catching and fresh while also following branding guidelines laid out by both CCAD and Aha Media. This experience not only lead to increased student participation in the program, but also allowed me to experience the collaborative nature of digital marketing.
