Served as the primary event coordinator for the Creative Careers & Collaboration team for events like the Annual Art Fair & Marketplace. I was responsible for leading and developing promotional and engagement strategies which resulted in a record number of alumni and student applications for the 2024 fair.
Developed and delivered a series of workshops which addressed key creative career readiness targets such as:
Application Material Preparation
Networking & Interviewing
Designing Your Career Approach (Skills, Interests, & Values)
Navigating and Organizing Your Job Search
I conducted the research, development, promotion, and delivery of these in-person workshops. The communications and marketing strategies implemented resulted in an overall increase in student participation across the academic year.
Additionally, by developing new hands-on activities and learning aids for the workshops, my efforts led to higher levels of student satisfaction in post-workshop surveys.
While serving as the Program Coordinator for Creative Careers & Collaboration, I supported the AVP and Director in nurturing relationships with employer partners and creative community members. In particular, I drove the development of a working relationship between our department and Moonbeam Literary & Media, opening up new internship and mentoring opportunities for our Animation and Illustration Students.
